October saw Embark host the first Kerbside gig in her new home, and what a corker it was. A very big thank you to the artists who entertained us and made for a very chilled Sunday here at Embark, what a great turn out too and thanks to everyone who came along to watch these great acts. Kerbside Prophets relaunches at Embark

We're very proud to announce that a new season of Kerbside kicks off at Embark Bar & Dining Room from Sunday 5th of October. Details of all acts can be found at www.myspace.com/kerbsideprophets

Started in 2007, Kerbside Prophets has been running for a year and a half now bringing weekly live acoustic music to people who share our belief in the quality musicians right on our doorstep here in Edinburgh.

We have well established names from Edinburgh and the surrounding area, spanning many genres giving a real flavour of the diversity in the Capital at the moment and we want to bring you a slice of that.

These leisurely usually Acoustic showcases offer a chance to wind down in a comfortable environment which aims to present the music in its purest form, and really try to give a feel of a real session. We strive to remove the barriers between musician and crowd, so much so the acts sit right beside you. It's a great event, attended in equal number by musicians and music lovers.

Burns Night & Six Nations Hospitality at Embark

Embark bar and dining room has today announced packages for their Burns Supper on the 25th of January and The 2007 Six Nations Championship which kicks off on Saturday 3rd February.

There will be entertainment from a number of Scotland's top actors at the Embark Burns Supper, whilst some of Scotland's top rugby personalities will be holding Q&A Sessions at the Embark rugby hospitality.

A table of ten at the Burns Supper or any of Scotland's five matches in next year's Six Nations is £300, however there are early bird packages on offer as follows:

Burns Night + 1 Match - £580
Burns Night + 2 Matches - £840
Burns Night + 3 Matches - £1,080
Burns Night + 4 Matches - £1,300
